We don’t follow a design recipe blindly. We focus on understanding and solving individual problems, blending creativity with strategy, and delivering effective, customised solutions. While making the web more beautiful and empathetic for everyone.
Our web development approach is semantic HTML, some CSS, and a dash of JavaScript for flavor. We place value on performance, accessibility, simplicity, and long term support. And, websites should be fun!
We aim to make the web better. Better for the people and organisations we collaborate with, better for their users, better for our planet, better for you, and better for us. That might sound like a lot, but it is actually simple when design and technology best practices are applied.
We decided to work together when we realised we felt enthusiastic at the same concept — Good Websites! — and aimed for achieving great things together. Each of us brings experience in her own field of expertise, and we cross paths at the natural intersection between design and development: we need each other, and the internet needs us.
Team
Good things start with good people! We joined forces with a singular
cause: put an end to bad websites! We love to work with people who are just as
enthusiastic as we are about making the web a good place, and want to create something
with that purpose!
I specialize in modern CSS, inclusive design, and performance. I’ve built lots of websites from the ground up for small and medium businesses, agencies, freelancers, or associations. As I keep up with the latest in tech, I realized what really counts when it comes to websites: they have to be fast, loading only what’s necessary, easy to understand, be inclusive, and eco-friendly. I work with Headless CMS solutions and frontend tools like Eleventy, Astro, and Shopify. Find more about me on my personal site lenesaile.com.
I focus on effective web design. Design that is inclusive, sustainable, usable, and centred on relevant information. And i care about prioritising aesthetics that blend with functionality, and offer website visitors a smooth experience through intuitive navigation and cohesive, appealing elements. Over the past few years, I’ve led various design projects, collaborating with friends, agencies, startups, and larger corporations. This diverse experience allowed me to explore and learn different aspects of design and its disciplines, solidifying my knowledge on design best practices.
